George Junior Painter, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2025, surrounded by family in Sonora, CA. He was born on June 6, 1946 in Los Banos, CA. George was a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He served in The United States Army and worked as an Auto Body Technician for 30 years. He was known for his quick wit, loyal friendships, and loved building and painting custom cars. Some of his happiest moments were hunting on his cousin Russell's ranch with family and friends and fishing the Stanilaus River.

George "Junior" is preceded in death by his parents George and Verna Painter and his sister Sonja and brother George Edward.

He is survived by his sisters Jean, Shirley, Georgie and brother John, daughter Marie, son Chad , daughter-in-law Penny, grandson Jonathon, grand daughter Lindsey and great granddaughter Isla. Per his request there will be no services; however, at a later date, there will be a private family Celebration of Life. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
