I worked with Kristi when we both worked in the office together at San Jose State with our office manager, Corky Smith. Kristi welcomed me warmly and she was kind, helpful, and gave me great advice while working in the office. I was sad when she left our office eventually, but very happy for her because she was getting married to George. We remained friends after she left, and reconnected again on Facebook. We kept promising to get together for a lunch or dinner but never made it. However, I was glad to see and read how happy she was with her family and enjoying life. I will miss her, and I am forever thankful for her friendship.
Many years ago a charming young lady came to work with me. Kristi brought her own style. She was charming, friendly, eager to please and a joy to be with. We had many special times together and right away she became a part of my life. She faced unpleasant occurrences in her life with a humility and calm acceptance and gracious understanding. If it was challenging, she managed it with wisdom and patience .Her children were her world. As I am certain they would attest to today.
When she married, the love of her life, George, they were amazingly compatible in all aspects. Their sense of humor helped in the early years, but Kristi met challenges and joyous occasions head on. I loved this girl like one of my own, she was a year older than my youngest and many times I relied on Kristi ,,,she so outdid my mothering qualities. When I think of her I will smile and know how blessed I was and am to have been her friend. Corky (Smith) Poindexter
She was such a kind and sweet person. I wish we would have stayed in contact more. Our prayers with her family. I can’t imagine the grief they are feeling. I hope they find peace in the fact that she is no longer suffering. RIP my dear friend🙏🏻❤️🩷
Kristi was my 1st cousin. Beautiful lady. May her sole rest in peace. Diane Falaschii Downum
You were the heartbeat of the family and are missed so terribly much. The one comfort I have is that you are pain free and surrounded by family and friends.
Such a beautiful soul . You will be missed..
