Charles Dean Staton a loving son, brother, uncle, father, Poppa and friend passed away on March 17, 2024, in Firebaugh, CA at the age of 76.
Charles was born on November 6, 1947, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Ewell D. and Vercie M. Staton.
He was a Good Ole' Country Boy, who loved his family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand to all. He had a Heart of Gold and a temper to match. He was who he was, take it or leave it! A Good Man, Nevertheless!!!
He was a longtime bartender/manager and truck driver who took care of his family and friends along the way.
He wants everyone to Celebrate his Life, with No Tears and Remember the Good Times!
He is preceded in death by his parents Ewell D. and Vercie M. Staton, his sister Barbara Pulley and brother Earl R. Staton.
Charles is survived by sisters: Ramona (Nile) Brundage and Melba (Don) Allen, brother Bryan (Pam) Staton, daughter Dena (David) DeGarmo, two grandsons: Dylan and Devin, several nieces and nephews and their children, three step grandchildren and many friends.
He will be missed greatly by his family and friends; we are so Thankful and Blessed for the time we had with him. God Bless You!

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11:00 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos. Burial at the Dos Palos Cemetery.
