Guy Gary, 51, passed away on January 13th, 2024 in Los Banos, California. He was born on July 28th,1972 in Los Banos to Loretta Gomes-Gary. He graduated from Fresno State and went on to have a successful career as a livestock inspector for the State of California. Two years ago Guy was offered his dream job as the Merced County Spring Fair Manager. Over the past two years Guy has dedicated his life to making the Merced County Spring Fair thrive for all members of the community.

He was a devoted spouse, father, and son. Guy is preceded by his daughter Journee Gary, Grandparents Tony and Hilda Gomes, and Lois Gary. Guy is survived by his wife Medina Gary, children Taylor and Gavin, his mother Loretta Gomes-Gary, sister Michelle Newell, and brothers Shaun and Glen Gary.

Guy had a deep love for his community and for helping organizations that teach children about agriculture. Guy was the father, neighbor, and friend that was always able to put others' needs before his own. He touched the lives of many people and truly left his mark on this world.

A celebration of life will be held for Guy Gary on Thursday January 25th, 2024 at the Los Banos Fairgrounds in the O'Banion Building. Located at 403 F St. Los Banos, CA 93635. The celebration is to begin at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow. Please join us to remember his enduring spirit and the joy he brought to all of us.
