Bobbie Glenn Smith passed away peacefully on Friday December 15, 2023 in Los Banos, California at the age of 71. Bobbie was born June 18, 1952 in Tracy, California to Marvin and Maxine Smith.
Bobbie worked for many years of his life in the family alfalfa processing business.
From 1974-1976, Bobbie served in the U.S. Army. During his time in the service he served as a Light Weapons Infantryman, as well as a Vehicle Mechanic. In 1972 Bobbie married his former wife Teresa Hoskins.
Bobbie enjoyed many years spending time with his family and friends, with whom he shared his amazing sense of fun and humor.
Bobbie is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Maxine Smith, his beloved sister Glenda Krugman and former wife Teresa. He is survived by his two sons, Bobby Jr. and Reggie, his grandchildren Andrew and Daniel Smith and Bella Cummings.
He is also survived by his siblings Nancy (Thurman "Stump") Jones of Los Banos, Joy (Archie) Bakerink of Ripon, California and Ronnie (Tammy) Smith of Los Banos, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel at 11:30am, followed by Veterans Service at San Joaquin Veteran Cemetery in Santa Nella, California at 1:30pm.
