Joe Gamboni, Jr. 91 years old passed away at home on September 29, 2023 surrounded by the love of his life Anita, his loving nieces Annette Uccelli and Susan Gamboni Moore, Mark Spitzer and his care giver Sara Herrera.
Joe was born on November 6, 1931 in King City. He moved to Dos Palos on his 6th birthday November 6, 1937 where he worked alongside with his father Joe Sr. and brother Alfred in the Dairy.
He married the love of his life Anita in 1971, celebrating 52 years of togetherness.
Joe loved to cook, his cooking will be missed by all especially his Salametti, Swiss sausage, prosciutto, olives, Ravioli's, pickled garlic, pomegranate jelly, apricot jam, spaghetti sauce, salsa and his special brandied cherries and limoncello.
Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, son David Gamboni, Brother Alfred and sister-in-law Elsie Gamboni.
Joe is survived by his wife Anita, son Gregory Gamboni,
Daughter in law Teresa Hammerquist who was like a daughter to him, two grandchildren; Joshua Gamboni and Reid Hammerquist, two great grandchildren; Thea Jo and Quin, numerous nieces and nephews, special cousin Richard (Peg) Crescini, Alan (JoAnn) Cable close friend who was like a special son.
