Obituary
On Tuesday September 21st, Steven T. Miyamoto of Los Banos, California passed away surrounded by family at the age of 63 after a well fought battle with colon cancer.
He was a well loved man who was known for his jokes and strength. He was a hard working man and worked with the California Fish & Wildlife for 34+ years before retiring on September 1st, 2021.
Steven was born March 3rd, 1958 to Fred and Tomyie Miyamoto in San Leandro, California. He graduated fron San Lorenzo High in 1976 then went on to get his bachelor degree in biology at Humbolt State University.
He is survived by his daughters Beth Miyamoto, Danielle Miyamoto, his wife Cassie Miyamoto, his brother Wayne Miyamoto, (Karren Miyamoto), nephew Matthew and neice Karrie.
A memorial service will be held on October 9th at 10 am at Los Banos United Methodist Church.
In liew of flowers, donations can be made to Grasslands Environmental Education Center (GEECe) or Los Banos United Methodist Church 1031 Iowa Ave., Los Banos, CA 93635.
