February 16, 1930 – September 30, 2013

Robert Benjamin Tidwell passed away on September 30, 2013 in Los Banos, Ca. He retired from the USAF after 20 years. He then moved and made Los Banos his home. He loved corvair cars and his family. Robert loved to fill his corvair van with spare parts and see the USA, where he visited many friends and family members. He belonged to the San Joaquin Club and Central Valley Corvair Club. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his step-daughter Dolores Castro of Dixon, Ca; daughters Sherrie Black of Moreno Valley, Ca, Terrie Helmer of Los Banos, Ca, Debra Morgan of Los Banos, Ca and son Micheal Tidwell; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. “You will be missed by all” A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos.
