Petronila Manzanedo was born on May 31, 1917 to Maria Bravo and Don Trinidad Garcia in Westminster, California. After a life full of love and vibrancy, she passed away peacefully at the age of 96, on October 11, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her four children: Lupe Manzanedo and spouse, Virginia; Frances Manzanedo-Climer, and spouse Grady; Josie Mattos; and George Manzanedo, and spouse Sherry; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and sibling Casey Gonzales. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers, her son Jesse, and her husband Jesus.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 17, 2013 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Los Banos, Ca. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel ~ Los Banos, Ca.
