John Clyde Jordan, 88, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 of cardiac arrest in Modesto, California. John was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and moved to California where he was a resident of Los Banos for over 70 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Charmian. Four children: John S. Jordan (Claudia) of Los Banos, CA.; Vickie A. Costa (Frank) of Torrington, Wyoming; Tami R Thomason of Oakdale, CA.; and George (David) Jordan of Turlock, CA. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel~ Los Banos.
