Obituary
Ramona E. Berry passed away peacefully Thursday, October 31, 2013 at home. Ramona was born April 23, 1930 in Amarillo, Texas. Ramona was the youngest of eight children. She often spoke of growing up in the great depression, the hard times, yet the great pulling together of family which outweighed any hardship of those years. In 1947 Ramona met the love of her life Walter Berry and had three children Gerald, Ronald, and Chandra. Ramona was a woman of stamina; she followed her husband everywhere he wanted to go. She could pack up a whole house hold in tow in a few days without a complaint. Ramona and Walter lived in many towns and cities in Texas, which led them to Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, and all up and down California before settling in Los Banos in 1969.
Ramona had a love for art, she loved to paint beautiful pictures in oil. She had an art studio in Santa Nella where she and her sister would spend hours painting. Ramona also loved to garden, she loved the beauty of the plants and flowers. Her family was her number one treasure. She truly enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. A woman that loved beyond measure- Ramona, Mom and Granny.
