Samuel “Sam” Severio LaPenta was born on January 3, 1930 in Los Banos and passed away November 24, 2013. Samuel was a lifelong resident of Los Banos, Ca. He graduated from Los Banos High School. Sam was a farmer for over 73 years. He continued the D. LaPenta company a family farming business, which he enjoyed very much. Sam was very happy on his home ranch.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James LaPenta; sister, Maria LaPenta and nephew James Lee Dominick.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with service to follow at 12:00 noon at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos. Burial will follow at Los Banos District Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel ~ Los Banos.
