Delores Fausset was born April 27, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Katherine and Alfred Kuhl. She attended school in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1947 she moved to Redwood City, Ca where she graduated from High School. In 1950 Delores met and married Homer Fausset and lived for a short time in Redwood City.
From 1952 through 1974 Delores and Homer made their home in Cupertino, San Jose and Morgan Hill. In 1975 they moved to Los Banos where Delores and Homer were in a partnership with Jimmie Fausset in Fausset Ranch. Delores Fausset continued to be a vital partner in the day to day running of the ranch where she enjoyed raising and caring for the animals.
Delores was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She is preceded in death by her Father Alfred Kuhl in 1988, Mother Katherine Kuhl in 1992, Brother-in-law Jimmie Fausset in 1994, and Husband, Homer Lee Fausset in October of 2011.
Delores is survived by: Daughter Debra Turney and her husband David, son Alfred Fausset and his wife Luisa; four grandchildren: Kimberlee Mc Cornack, Aaron Turney, Sira Fausset-Villegas, and Katherine Nava; six great grandchildren: Kaylee, Madysen, and Lexi Grace Turney, Abigail and Zachariah Mc Cornack, and Favian Lee Villegas.
In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Los Banos. Burial will follow at the Los Banos District Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel ~Los Banos.
