Inez Posey was born a twin in her family’s home on I Street in Los Banos, Ca on July 5, 1927. She died in Los Banos, Ca on November 29, 2013.
Inez was a loving wife and mother. She cherished her family gatherings and handed down her family values, traditions and qualities to her children. She never met a stranger, she continued her faith in God, and was always a delight to speak with.
Inez is preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Sophia; Husband: Troy Posey; Sisters: Mary Betat and twin sister Irene Iudice; Brothers: Burt, Joe, and Dean Sophia.
She was the devoted mother of Gary (daughters Ashley and Allison), Steven (wife Jill, daughter Sarah), and Andy (wife Dina, daughters Nicole, Katie and Andria).
Inez was laid to rest on Thursday, December 5, 2013 with a funeral mass held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and burial at the Los Banos District Cemetery. Services under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels~Los Banos.
