Carl Pacini passed away peacefully December 31, 2013, at a hospital in Fresno, CA. He was 67.
Carl was born in Los Banos, CA to John and Madeline Pacini on May 16, 1946. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. Carl earned a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. He returned to the valley after his honorable discharge and began working as a truck driver. He retired from truck driving after 32 years. Carl was a lifetime member of the VFW of Firebaugh and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Vets. He enjoyed traveling and playing his guitar and time that he spent with his family .
He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife: Bernadine Burkhart-Pacini of Firebaugh, CA. Two children: Michael Pacini of Oregon and Brandy Pacini of Dos Palos, CA. Two sisters: Lillian Tortia of Gilroy, CA, Carolyn Eubanks of Dos Palos, CA and one brother, John Pacini of Dos Palos, eight grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His stepchildren: Sharon and Ed Wandzell of Dos Palos, CA, Terry Burkhart of Dos Palos and Bobby and Marilyn Burkhart of Firebaugh, CA.
