Obituary
Tony L. Borelli of Los Banos / Dos Palos passed away January 10th, 2014.
Tony was born June 11th, 1923 at home to Antonio & Mary Borelli. He was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. Tony attended Schools in Los Banos. Tony enjoyed working on his Ranch all his life, and also worked for San Luis Canal Company for a time and then joined the staff of the Los Banos Unified School District as a custodian for Charleston Elementary School and School bus driver. After his retirement he enjoyed RV-ing with his wife Jackie and also enjoyed restoring old cars and tractors. He was a member of Classy Classics Car Club of Los Banos and a Model A Club. While raising their 5 children, Tony enjoyed helping with 4-H Club & FFA of Los Banos
Tony is preceded in death by his father Antonio Borelli, mother Mary Rocco Borelli-Toscano, stepfather Luis P. Toscano, Brothers & Sister-in-laws: John & Irene Borelli, Ralph & Angelina Borelli, Paul & Francis Toscano, & Elaine Toscano. Brother in law: Italo Rebecchi, Grandson Ian Anthony Borelli.
Tony is survived by his wife Jackie Borelli, Son Chuck Borelli and wife Toni of Roseville, daughter Mary Rose Stebens and husband Mike, Son Eddie Borelli and wife Carmen, Daughter Judie Borelli-Ribeiro and husband Dan, all of Los Banos, Son Nicholas Borelli of Spokane Washington. Grandchildren Andrea Thomas and husband Patrick of Reno Nevada, Mathew Borelli of Mississippi, Jason Borelli of Yuba City, Mario Borelli of Los Banos, Trevor Borelli of Chico, Gina Borelli-Groppoli and husband Dan of Wisconsin, Jackie Marlo Borelli of Los Banos, Great Grand Child Natalee Groppoli of Wisconsin and Step Grand children: Stephanie Chanminalaght, Shanna Larson, Danny Ribeiro & wife Courtney, Brandie Ribeiro. Step Great Grandchildren: Ashley Stebens, Ketmany Chanminalaght, Brenden Chanminalaght, Brayden Stebens, Arianna Medina, Deanna Larson & Sariah Baker, his sisters: Helen Nocito & husband Mike of San Jose and Betty Rebecchi of Firebaugh, his brother: Luis Toscano of Galt, Sister-in-Laws: Beverly Toscano-Marcello and Nada Borelli-Bandoni of Merced, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Friday, January 17th at 5:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos. Catholic Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos. Services are under the direction Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos.
