Lenora Hugues, also known as Nonnie to friends and family, lost her battle to cancer on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her residence in Salida, CA. She was 66.
She was born in Holtville, CA to Lupe and Juventino Macias. Lenora moved to Los Banos when she was 11 years old. She graduated from Los Banos High in 1966.
Her son Rudy was born in 1967. In 1970, She attended Barber college in Fresno, then she met her husband Adam and she has a son Joshua. The family moved to Salida, CA in 1991.
Lenora retired from Walmart where she was a maintenance supervisor for 18 years. She enjoyed coming to Los Banos every chance she could to be with her family. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her son Rudy Loreto.
She is survived by her husband Adam Hugues, her son Joshua Hugues and her granddaughter Laura Loreto.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos followed by The Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial at the Los Banos District Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Los Banos.
