Alden (John) Weide, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at The Franciscan Convalescent Hospital in Merced. He was 94.
Alden Karl Weide was born December 16, 1919. He served in the US Air Force during World War II from 1943 util 1945. John married Helen Connor April 3, 1948 in Yuma, Arizona. They made Dos Palos their home in 1965. John was employed by Tubbs Cortage , and retired from the textile mill where he was a foreman.
John was preceded in death by his wife Helen, four brothers, two sisters, and one granddaughter. He is survived by a son, Joe Weide of Dos Palos, and two daughters, Joanne Baldwin of Camarillo, CA and Janell Clark of Coalinga, CA. Also one grandson, David Baldwin of Camarillo, CA and two granddaughters, Cambria Clark of Coalinga, CA and Veronica Baldwin of Camarillo, CA.
