Dolores A. Vargas, a long time resident of Dos Palos, CA passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at her residence in Dos Palos, CA. She was 79.
She was born Dolores Vega December 18, 1935 in El Toro, CA the daughter of David and Pauline (Martinez) Vega.
Dolores met the love of her life Lupe and they married him on October 24, 1951 in Hollister, CA. They moved to Dos Palos in 1985. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed family time and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and one daughter.
Dolores is survived by her husband; Lupe Vargas of Dos Palos, CA, six children; Lupe Vargas, Jr. of Paso Robles, CA, Sally Vargas of Dos Palos, CA, Lorraine Baladad of Newman, CA, Debbie Vargas of Dos Palos, CA and Joaquin Vargas of Dos Palos, CA, six brothers and three sisters, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos
