Bonnie Jean Carrero a long time resident of Dos Palos, California passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, California. She was 74.
Bonnie was born January 29, 1941 in Oakland, California the daughter of William and Rose (Grosso) Demello.
Bonnie came to Dos Palos from Morgan Hill, California in 2000. Bonnie met Alfonso Carrero and they married in Carson City, Nevada August 6, 1983. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and going on vacation with family and friends. She loved going to Lake Tahoe and Carson City, Nevada. She will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one aunt and one sister.
Bonnie is survived by her husband; Alfonso Carrero, five children; Rhonda Thompson, Bryan Hampton, Karen Clinton, Ronaldo Hampton and Kristin Hampton, one sister, two brothers, seven grandchildren; Shelly Clinton, Jody Hernandez, Castadara Thompson, Jessica Hampton, Baby Bryan Hampton, Melanie Hampton and Christopher Clinton, 13 great grandchildren: Vanessa Quintana, Melissa Quintana, Jr. Thompson, Aye Jarrh Thompson, Larader Thompson, Anthony Ortega, Justin, Jacobo, Brenda, Raul and Nina Hernandez, Rosabella and Bradley Clinton and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A visitation will begin Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 8:30 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos
