Obituary
Jerry John Antonetti, a long time resident of South Dos Palos, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno. He was 84.
He was born August 19, 1930 at home in South Dos Palos the son of Victorio and Adele (Ventura) Antonetti.
On July 8, 1954, he married Delia J. Martin of South Dos Palos in Reno, NV. They were married 60 years. He owned and operated Jerry’s Shoe Repair and Dry Goods for 54 years in South Dos Palos. He loved hunting, gardening and being with his family. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and as a good catholic said his prayers every night.
Jerry was proud of being a shoe maker and was good at it. He had a great sense of humor and always made sure that those around him were filled with laughter. He was an honest man, loved talking to people and giving advice to others. He had the biggest heart anyone could have. He will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers; Albert, Joe, Frank, Donald, Roy And Harry Antonetti and four sisters; Jean Roback, Victoria Ebbs, Rose Murray and Pat Bryant.
Jerry is survived by his wife; Delia J. Antonetti of South Dos Palos, one daughter; Debra C. (V. John) Morrill of Mariposa, two sons; Timmy M. Antonetti of Fresno and Jerry H. ( Paula) Antonetti of Dos Palos, eight grandchildren; Danny Antonetti of Hayward, Amanda (John) Dirickson of South Dos Palos, Kenny (Alicia) Antonetti of Coalinga, Jerry H. Antonetti, Jr. of Dos Palos, Shawnesee Antonetti of Dos Palos, John Christopher Morrill of Fresno, Monica Antonetti of Dos Palos and Katie Morrill of Merced and seven great grandchildren; Elisha Dirickson, Ben Walker, Michael Antonetti, Chelsea Antonetti, Isaac Dirickson, Cheri Antonetti and Kinleigh Antonetti
A visitation will begin Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Church of Dos Palos. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church. Burial at The San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos
