Obituary
Santiago Frias, a long time resident of Firebaugh, California passed away unexpected on Monday, June 27, 2016 in Madera County. He was 75 years old.
He was born and raised in Robstown, Texas February 12, 1941 the son of Guadalupe and Paula Frias. He was a Supervisor for Western Farm Service for 30 years.
Santiago farmed alongside his grandfather and often shared wonderful stories of his grandparents. He met the love of his life Mary and married her, their marriage last 45 years. Together, they decided to establish a life in California where employment was at its best at the time. Santiago found employment with Western Farm Service while his wife pursued her career in nursing. He will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Paula Frias and his spouse Mary Frias.
He is survived by his children; Santiago (Corina) Frias Jr. and Diana Frias, five grandchildren; Anthony, Marissa, Adrianna, Amanda and Kayla Frias, three great grandchildren and many family and friends.
A visitation will begin Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 9am at St. Joseph Church of Firebaugh. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am Burial will be in the Dos Palos Cemetery District in Dos Palos, CA.
