Gertrude Mae Lane passed away August 22, 2016 from heart failure at Los Banos Nursing Home, Los Banos, CA. Mrs. Lane was born February 26, 1920 in Furneiss, Alabama outside of Athens. She married Frank Lane in 1936 in Clovis, New Mexico where Patsy was born. They moved to Los Banos in 1937 where three more daughters were born. Her husband Frank died in 1981. Since then she made new friends at Bingo, enjoying her church family and playing Skip-Bo. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Lane.
Mrs. Lane is survived by her four daughters, Pasty Farmer, Delores Jacobsen, Phyllis Garrett, Frankie Cremeen; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Monday, August 29th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel. A service will follow from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow service at Los Banos District Cemetery.
