Margaret Munkres, 94, passed away on November 16, 2016. She was born in New Bedford, Massachussets on August 18, 1922. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Raymond DeSa who was taken from her family at an early age; her second husband Pat Munkres; and her friend and companion of 8 years, Leo Tognazi. She is survived by her children Yvonne (Jeff) Andes of Ukiah, David (Nancy) DeSa of Gustine, Diane (George) Gongora of Los Banos, and Raymond (Patti) Desa of Los Banos; Margaret had 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, there will be a visitation at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel beginning at 5:00 p.m.; the rosary will be recited at 7:00. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel~Los Banos.
