Micaela Hernandez, 98, passed away December 20, 2016 in Los Banos, California. She was born August 10, 1918 in Phoenix, Arizona. Micaela was a longtime resident of Los Banos. She enjoyed cooking, watering and caring for her garden, shopping, family and attending church services.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Duran; mother, Ramona Jimenez; daughter, Virginia D. Escobar; sons: Raymond and Tony Duran.
Micaela is survived by her daughters: Ruby Duran Garcia, Mary Duran Samora, Tillie Duran Esparza; sons: Ralph Duran, Rudy Duran, Mike Duran, Henry Duran, Jesse Duran; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel beginning with a visitation on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.; Chapel service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Los Banos District Cemetery. Services under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel~ Los Banos.
