Obituary
Pedro Salaverri Cilveti was born on August 13, 1935 to Santiago Salaverri and Eulogia Cilveti in Sarageta, Navarra, Espana. He came to United States in 1965 to experience the American dream. When he arrived in the United States, he made his residence in Los Banos and this is where he resided the last 52 years of his life. He started his first job in 1966 working for Pacheco Cattle Company. He had many other jobs and his last one working with Wood Bros, Inc. Pedro loved to work with Cattle and Horses and loved to live in Los Banos because he felt very comfortable. He had many friends and this is where he met The Murillo Family who took him in as one of their own. He enjoyed spending time with the whole family and getting to know all the kids and grandchildren and BBQ’ing his famous garlic bread for them. His favorite place to eat was Wool Growers where he often met with friends to enjoy a nice lunch. He will be dearly missed by his friends, his family and his Murillo Family. His services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017, beginning with a visitation 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel; a Rosary and Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Services under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos.
