Joe passed away February 2, 2017 in Santa Nella, CA. He is survived by his loving sisters, Zully L. Simeral and Elva L. Dirksen, and Margarita Lawson and Lucila Ledesma. His loving mother, Esther Ledesma, predeceased him last May, and sister Marlene Ledesma predeceased him in 2015. Also, well remembered by nephews, Eric Lawson and Curtis Simeral, and nieces Kristen Simeral and Michelle Ruiz. Born in 1952 to Esther and Jose Ledesma, Joe grew up in Stockton, CA and attended Franklin High School before becoming fascinated with the world of electronics and moving to Silicon Valley in the early days of the digital age. He met his wife Judith Steward at one of the companies where they both worked and married and moved to the Los Banos area in the early 1990’s. Later, Joe retired and immersed himself in home projects, as well as enjoying family and friends. Judi passed away in 2007 and Joe was fortunate to have loving family and caring neighbors to provide him friendship and support. He will be greatly missed. Memorial service will be held Friday, February 17th at 1 p.m. in Whitehurst Chapel at 1840 S. Center Ave., Los Banos, CA
