Samuel Lindsey Benidettino (Affectionately known as “Sammy”) was born 54 years ago, on January 7, 1963 to Sam and Molly Jean Benidettino in Los Banos, CA and he passed away in Modesto, CA on February 4, 2017. Sam was raised in Los Banos attending school and ultimately graduating from Los Banos High School in 1981 and attended Merced College. He worked for many years at Patricio’s which in later years became SaveMart. His love for the Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco Giants, Star Trek and “Rock” Music will be his trademarks forever. “Sammy B” had many friends that he would keep throughout his lifetime. He became disabled from side effects of childhood diabetes and throughout his life challenges his family and friends would help him in every way possible. The Benidettino Family would like to especially thank Cousin Bruce Criswell for his everlasting kindness and friendship with Sammy. Also to Rod Sanchez and Mike Deatherage for your life long friendship. Sam was proceeded in death by his parents Sam and Molly Jean Benidettino, his sister Doreen Bjorge and Brother Dominic Benidettino. He is survived by his Sister Sandra Hodges, Brother Robert (Kiera) Benidettino, Brother In Law Irving Bjorge, Aunts Evelyn Benidettino and Eleanor Britton. Many Nephews and Nieces, one great nephew and many, many cousins and friends. Sam’s Funeral Service will be held at the Pavilion at the Los Banos District Cemetery on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11am. Rest in Peace Sammy, we love you and will miss you.
