Andrew (Andy) Chagoya, age 57, passed away on April 5, 2017 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his children, in Madera, California. Andrew was born on October 21st, 1959 in Palo Alto, California to Arthur and Dolores Chagoya. On February 8th, 1980 Andrew married the "Love of his Life," Valerie Chagoya who he shared 37 years of marriage with. Andrew and Valerie went on to have three children: Cecelia Chagoya, Michael Chagoya, and Adrienne Coppola. One of Andrew's greatest accomplishments in life was to be a father. He found so much pride and joy in raising children of his own. He also loved to care for the friend's of his children. He and Valerie were both very welcoming to all who entered their lives. Andrew is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dolores Chagoya, and his beloved wife Valerie Chagoya. Andrew is survived by his three children: daughter Cecelia Chagoya, son Michael Chagoya, daughter Adrienne Coppola, grandsons Drew Zaas, Haydan Zaas, Christian Coppola, sister Beatrice Martinez, brother John Chagoya, brother Richard Chagoya, and many family and friends who loved him dearly. Andrew will most be remembered for his infectious smile, ability to make others laugh, love for his family and friends, hard-work ethic, and his adoration for his "medicine ," his grandsons, who will never forget their "Poppi." Services for Andrew will be: Rosary Service on Monday, April 10th at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, Los Banos, Ca at 5:00 p.m.
