Georgeann Furtado passed away on April 30, 2017 at the age of 74. She was born on June 22, 1942 in San Francisco, Ca. to Bill Hale and Theresa Carlucci Hurley. She had one brother, Bob Hale, of Texas. Georgeann moved to Los Banos at the age of 18 where she soon met the love of her life, Eugene Furtado. Georgeann and Gene celebrated 54 years of marriage on April 28, 2017. Georgeann is preceded in death by her mother Theresa Hurley, her father Bill Hale and two infant children that passed at birth. She is survived by her husband, Gene, two daughters: Trisha (Tony) Costa and Tami Hays (Matt Dugo), and three grandchildren: Fallon Hays, Chase Costa, and Colt Dugo. Georgeann enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren who called her “Nonie”. She will be missed by her many friends and family members as she touched so many lives with her beautiful smile, generosity, and above all, her sparkle.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel; Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Los Banos District Cemetery. Services under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos.
