Your Always in my thoughts Lynn! Wonderful person. God bless
Lynn was a pretty and vivacious girl as I remember her in high schoollong honey brown hair and pretty smile. I didnt know her middle name was Marie. Beautiful name.
She was smart. She was a competitive tennis player. Sandy Worth was her good friend and Sandy played tennis too. They competed as doubles against rival teams bringing victories to DPHS.
Lynn was a pommerette her junior and senior years. She performed with the dance squad at Friday rallies, halftime shows and marched in front of our award winning band performing routines or being one of nine pommerettes to carry the sign.
Lynn won the title of Miss Dos Palos in 1975 and competed in a number of pageants. She wasnt one to give up easily. She went on to win the Maid of California beauty pageant at the California State Fair during those years. She attended college at California State University, Fresno and moved to Clovis.
I remember Lynns family when we were growing up in Dos Palos. They were a nice familyher hard working dad, Raymond, homemaking mother, Perina, Lynns older sister, just by one year, Kim, another pretty and vivacious teenage girl. Danny and Shelly were younger. I think that covers it and I may not have all the facts straight. We can lose track of our high school friends as we move far away and on to the next decades of life and so I can only share high school memories of our friend, Lynn. Lynn is survived by her beloved son, Dillon Owens.
May Christ bless him and all of Lynns family and friends. Ramona (Maron) McNeely
