Obituary
Angelina Gloria Nuttall, 86, of Los Banos, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. She was born of the late Joseph Pedro Jorge and Leonor Genevieve Silva on September 26, 1930 in Gustine, California.
Angie was a barber and a commercial fisherman before she became a housewife. She was crowned Assistant Princess in 1943. She was always willing and able to help out at the Catholic School and 4-H club. She loved teaching catechism and over the years loved seeing those children go to church.
Angie was one of the most giving and loving person everyone could ever meet and anyone that knew her would say, “She was the kindest person they ever met”. When it came to the Rams playing football, you could hear Angie and Eddie cheering from a mile way.
There are so many things I can say about my mother, but it would be a novel, so just remember her and spirit and kindness. She did so much for so little, she was happy to get a smile and a thank you. Every bit of kindness was from her heart. Her life was run by the Golden Rule. She will say do unto others as you wish them to do unto you. Live by this and you will always be rich in love and friendship.
Angie is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lenore Jorge, first husband, Rodney Grishaber, second husband, Herman Nuttall, two sons, Eddie and Robert Nuttall, one sister, Lele Jorge and one brother, Joseph Jorge Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Victoria Grishaber (Dan) Sousa and Maria (Greg) Bond, proxy kids, Chrissy, Richard and Ronnie Jorge, six grandchildren, Marlene Garred, Sonney Giddens, Layla Todd, Brandi Pickup, Kyle Nuttall and Gabriela Bond, ten great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Los Banos Cemetery. A reception will be held at Espana’s Restaurant.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, OLF School, St. Vincent De Paul, MYSA soccer League or Red Cross. Services entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Los Banos.
