Carrie was born in Idaho, grew up in Spokane, WA and later moved to Santa Cruz, CA with the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Hedrick. They raised four beautiful daughters while forming and running several businesses through 1996. They retired to Grants Pass, OR and later returned to Los Banos, CA. Carrie was an avid reader, a talented seamstress, gifted with a green thumb and was known to win Powder Puff dirt track racing in Bob’s car at Watsonville speedway. She was a dedicated to caring for Bob in his final years. Family was her greatest joy and she treasured time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She passed peacefully into the gates of heaven with her daughters in attendance.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Hedrick, her parents Loren and Freda Rhoads, brother bud Rhoads and sister Doris Fountain.
Carrie is survived by her daughters: Kim Glenn, Jill (Robert) Amos, and Amy Hedrick-Farr (Roger) of Santa Cruz and Tracey Rosin of Los Banos, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Los Banos.
