William Raymond St.Marie
William Raymond St.Marie was born March 30, 1940, in Lakewood, Ohio to Louis and Mary Jane (O'Conner) St.Marie. The family moved from Ohio to Auburn Massachusetts in 1952. William attended Catholic School and graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1958. He enlisted into the United States Air Force after graduation. He was later assigned to Castle Air Force base in Atwater, California where he met his wife of 61 years, Mary Louise (White) St.Marie. During their marriage they had four children, Kathleen, Michael, Robert, and Richard. After leaving the Air Force in 1966, William joined the Los Banos Police Department in June 1967. William quickly climbed the ranks and retired as the Chief of Police in 1993. William was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his daughter-in-law Donna St.Marie, and his grandson, Jonathan McCarthy. William leaves behind his children and five siblings, Nancy Rafferty, Pamela Lussier, Paul St.Marie, Antionette (Toni) Hebert, Bernadette Alano, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Services to be held at the Whitehurse Funeral Home in Los Banos on May 15, 2026, with burial immediately following at the San Joaquin National Veterans Cemetery in Santa Nella.
