Theresa Rosalie Laranjo

Theresa Rosalie Laranjo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and "Tupperware Lady", passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025 in Los Banos, CA.
Theresa was born in 1931, in Volta, CA. She was the second youngest of six siblings. In 1948, she married Tony Laranjo. Soon after they moved to Los Banos, CA and raised their 3 children. Theresa shined brightly around the company of others, and she sought work that fulfilled that passion. She worked as a teacher's aide at a local elementary school and later became a very successful, and well known, Tupperware saleswoman. Theresa loved gardening, her pets (especially her cats), and spending time with her friends. Her family was very important to her, and she delighted in being a grandmother to 3 grandchildren. Theresa loved many people and in return many people love and will miss her.
Theresa is preceded in death by her husband Tony Laranjo, daughter Janet Loewen, parents Verissimo and Rosalie Silva, and siblings Frank, Joe, Vernon, Manuel, and Mary. She is survived by her son Stephen (Carol) Laranjo, daughter Pamela Matheson (Joe Keenan), and 3 grandchildren Cherie Miranda (Michael Walker), Sydney Loewen (Ernesto Munoz), and Michael Laranjo, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
On October 19, 2025 there will be a visitation at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel beginning at 3:00 p.m.; at 5:00, the holy rosary will be recited. October 20, 2025, there will be a funeral mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church; burial will follow at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels~Los Banos.
