Joyce Ann Saldubehere, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, at Valley Springs Memory Care, in Los Banos, Ca.
Joyce was born in Stockton, Ca., and grew up in Calaveras County. Her parents later moved to Los Banos, Ca. Joyce was the eldest of 6 siblings. Joyce graduated from Los Banos High School in 1965. She then received her accounting degree from the University of Phoenix. She worked for various water districts throughout Fresno and Merced Counties, and for Saldubehere Chevron.
In 1984 she married John "Leon" Saldubehere. They created a lifetime of memories traveling and attending San Francisco Giants games.
Joyce was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Chapter of Los Banos, for decades. As a member, she developed lifelong friendships that became family. She took part in Philanthropic events within the community. She also served as a board member and treasured the Yellow Rose, a symbol to the sorority.
She is preceded in death by her parents Neal and Donna Sears, Robert Winkler, and her beloved cocker spaniel Angus.
She is survived by her husband John "Leon" Saldubehere, her children; Janine Wendland, Jason (Carol) Rodrigues, Jill Cundari (Paul Kirkwood), Jill Saldubehere (Keith Williams), and Amy Saldubehere Wiley, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind 5 Siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends, who were like family.
