Patricia "Patty" Garcia Escalante a longtime resident of Dos Palos, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at her residence in Dos Palos, California. She was 63 years old.
She was born November 15, 1961, in Firebaugh, California the daughter of Apolinar and Juanita Garcia. She married the father of her children Loy Escalante on February 12, 1984, in Dos Palos, California and lived in Dos Palos, California.
Patty was a kind, God fearing and loving woman who loved life and people. She made friends with people of all walks of life anywhere she went.
Patty loved cooking, dancing, the 49ers, family singing, scary movies and scaring people. Her captivating smile and contagious laugher brightened everyone's days. She enjoyed being surrounded by good company, music and good food.
She is preceded in death by her parents Apolinar and Juanita (Zapata) Garcia, siblings: Eusebio "Chey" Sr., Thomas, Danny, Fidel, Jesus, Rudy and Diana, nephews: Eusebio Jr., Ruben, Fernando and niece Ariel, grandsons: Ishmael and Ezra.
Patty is survived by her children: Christina, Rudy, Priscilla, Deanne and Bunny, stepchildren: Chris and Rene, the father of her children Loy Escalante, husband Jose Vidal Ramirez, siblings: Ray, Frankie, Paul, Tina, Connie and Bella, 17 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos, California.
Reception to follow at 12:30 pm at the DES Hall in Dos Palos.
