With heavy hearts, we announce that Armida Angelita Parraz was called up to heaven on March 12, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and wife, Armida was born on February 1, 1977, in San Jose, California, and brought joy, color, and laughter into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. 
Armida was the fourth daughter of Jesse and Alice Arredondo, growing up in a close-knit family alongside her sisters: Jessica, Corina, Veronica, and Lena. She cherished her bond with each of them, bringing love and laughter to their lives. Her greatest pride and joy, however, were her five children: Mario Jr., Gabriella, Joseph, Eric, and Michael, and her granddaughter, Josie Juanita Parraz. 
Armida and her husband, Mario Parraz Sr., whom she met when they were both young were together since 1992 and married on June 28, 1998. They shared more than 30 years together.
A woman of vibrant passions, Armida loved animals and delighted in the company of her furry companions: Pepsi, Oreo, and Tiny the Destroyer. She was a devoted fan of the Rams and lived life to the fullest through her favorite activities--singing, dancing, painting, and embracing her love for food, music, and casinos. Purple was her favorite color, as bright and bold as her personality, and she adored penguins, and all things related to *The Little Mermaid*. 
Armida's laughter was unmistakable, her presence loud yet loving, and her spirit incomparable. She was the heartbeat of any gathering, bringing people together and creating memories filled with warmth and fun. 
Her legacy lives on the heart of her husband, children, granddaughter, family, and friends, who will forever remember her as a shining light in their lives. 
Rest in peace, Armida. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
