It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Florence Marie Franco. Our mom Florence was a force to be reckoned with. She was tough and you always knew what she thought of you. She lived eighty-nine years on this earth. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cullen Cadamus (Beutah Mae) Carter, son, Joe Allen Franco, her daughter, Vickie Sue Cardoza, sisters and brothers: Pauline Stevens, David Carter, Teresa Canady, Joe Carter and Gene Carter.
Florence leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Benjamin Franco, three children; Cindy (Reggie) Puentes of Merced, Steve (Cindy) Franco of Los Banos and Regina (Terry) Smith of Turlock, 13 grandchildren; Athena Bernal, Christina Muller, Angelina Bohannon, Monique Chumley, Ben Franco, Samantha Franco, Sabrina Villegas, Eric Moreno, Jacob Kollar, Danielle Puentes, Jordan Puentes, Reggie J. Puentes and Polly Truschke, 18 great grandchildren; Ashlee Coder, Jack and Luke Chumley, Alexis, Gianni and Emilio Pistoreal, Jenna, Morgan and Caleb Franco, Joey Puentes, Carter and Mallory Berger, Andrew, Isiah and Faith Villegas, Aubry, Bantley and Madeline Truschke and many family and friends.
