Kenneth R. Pierce a loving husband, father, brother and friend passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 85.
Kenneth was born on April 18, 1939, in San Jose, California to Milford and Wilma Pierce. He and his family lived in Campbell, CA and relocated to Dos palos when Kenneth was two years old.
He attended the local schools and graduated from the Dos Palos High school in 1957. Kenneth received an AA degree from Merced College. He married the love of his life Virginia Crutcher on October 20, 1958, and they raised three children.
Kenneth worked for Merced County Sheriff's Department for 29 years and retired in 1996.
He privately enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, restoring vintage autos and spending quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends; we are so thankful for the time we had with him.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Virginia Pierce of Dos Palos, CA, his children: Kenny Pierce of Kopperl, TX, Stace Heriford of Merced, CA, and Kevin Pierce of Dos Palos, CA, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many family and friends. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10:00 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos, CA.
