Lydia Jasso Gonzales a resident of Los Banos, was relieved of her pain on May 8, 2023 in Modesto, CA. She was 87 years old. Lydia was born in El Compo, TX on May 3, 1935.
Lydia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great friend to all who knew her. She was a hard working woman all her life. She worked at Tri Valley for 20 years and also worked at the Duck Club for over 30 years where she thought no one can take her place or no one could make biscuits and gravy like she could.
She enjoyed going to the casinos with her friends or anyone who would take her. She loved buying lottery tickets in hopes of winning big.
Her passion in life was to do for others. Lydia had a caring heart and a heart of gold. She enjoyed cooking and no one can make fried chicken like she could and she would feed anyone who came to her house and made sure they took food home.
Lydia loved her family especially her grandchildren. She loved babysitting, playing with them, and telling them stories. She enjoyed all kinds of music and loved to dance and was good at it. Now she is dancing in heaven with her son Abel.
Lydia is preceded in death by her son Abel Gonzales, her granddaughter Valerie Gonzales, grandson Christopher Ward, great granddaughter Lilliana and great great-granddaughter Ava Pacini.
She is survived by her seven children; Martin Jasso, Olga Vasquez, Hella Gonzales, Joe Gonzales, Nick Gonzales, Luis Gonzales, and Stephanie Gonzales Franco, 38 grandchildren, 78 great children, seven and a half great great-grandchildren.
