Ludovina "Ludy" Cozzi of Los Banos, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, after a long illness. She was 94 years of age.
She was born in Newman, CA to Joe and Adline Silva. She worked as a bookkeeper for over 40 years between both Los Banos Livestock Market, and Los Banos Abattoir.
In her last 5 years, Ludy's health started to decline. Ludy had a passion for cooking and was an excellent cook. She was also a member of the Young Ladies Institute.
She is survived by her husband Art of 73 years, her children: Linda Parreira, Terri Dompeling (Gerald), and Gary Cozzi (Anthony); Grandchildren; Janay Parkinson (Kurt) and Jason Parreira (Sharene). Great grandchildren; Abbigail and Hannah Parkinson, Clayton, Kavin and Aivry Parreira.
Services will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 10:AM and funeral mass will be at 10:30AM, burial will follow at the Los Banos District Cemetery.
