Ruth Soliz, 73, of Los Banos passed away on April 24, 2018 peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
Ruth was born March 7, 1945 in Stockton California to Eufracio and Carmen Sanchez. She graduated from Davis High School in 1964. Ruth attended the Apostolic Assembly church in Modesto California and was baptized on March 4, 1962 at the age of 16.
Ruth and Gregory first knew each other at a young age and later connected at the age of 20 and were married shortly there-after on October 9, 1966 in Modesto California.
They moved to Los Banos where they would begin to have a family.
Ruth worked for Merced County Office of Education for 28 years from January 1981 to August 2008 as a Migrant Aide at many of the local elementary schools. She later retired at the age of 63.
Ruth enjoyed reading books and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian woman and active member of her church. She will be missed and remembered by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eufracio and Carmen Sanchez and Brother Eufracio Sanchez Jr.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 51 years Gregory Soliz Sr, her daughters, Audelia Garcia, Bilha Soliz and Adreanna Soliz, her sons, Gregory Soliz Jr and Benjamin Soliz. She has 10 grandkids Lindsay and Meagan Garcia, Devyn and Nathaniel Soliz, Marissa and Eric Soliz, Carl and Jianna Martin, Issac Samaniego and Bradley Roberts who she loved and adored dearly.
