Peggy J. Lima, a longtime resident of Dos Palos, passed away on January 6, 2025 in Merced, CA. She was born June 6, 1941 in Hollister, CA to Marvin and Rose Locke. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Peggy moved to Dos Palos in 1947 and has remained here for the rest of her life. She married her high school sweetheart Joe Lima in 1959. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Joe Lima, 3 children: Larry (Sue), Paul (Lori), and Phillip (Vera) Lima, 2 sisters; Ruth (Ed) Cassed and Laura (Johnny) Lingo, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Rosary will be at 10 am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church of Dos Palos followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Burial at the Dos Palos Cemetery District in Dos Palos, CA.
