Rosemarie E. Ferro, 92 years old passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024, in Modesto, CA. Rosemarie was born on May 10, 1932, in Vaeta where she recited all her life, the daughter of A. Victor and Philomena Silva.
She was the youngest of 13 siblings. She attended Vaeta's schools and graduated from high school in 1951.
In 1952 Rosemarie married the love of her life Anthony A. Ferro and raised her four children on the family ranch.
She worked at Los Bano Convalescent and Los Banos Memorial Hospital nursing field for 25 years.
Her enjoyment in life, besides her family was traveling to Black Oak once a month to gambling, swimming and dancing the right away.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Golden Agers, Lady Mt. Carmel Society, Altar Society and Our Lady of Fatima.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Anthony A. Ferro, son David V. Ferro and siblings.
Rosemarie is survived by her son John A. Ferro, daughter Carolyn Simmons, both of Los Banos, Carol Souza of Gustin, grandchildren: Holly (Chad) Meza and Liza A. Souza, great grandson Ezekiel Meza and many family and friends.
